Lee Brice doesn’t have an ego when it comes to the new class of rising Country Stars. He admits that he used to be in that class himself, along with his pals Jerrod Niemann, Randy Houser, Luke Bryan and Jake Owen. But Lee says he hangs out with the newcomers every chance he gets, in hopes that their hipness will rub off on him…
Lee Brice: “Thomas Rhett and Tyler Farr and Casey James and some of these guys, they’re just so talented. You know, when I came to town, we were the young, hip, we were writing hip stuff, you know. I consider myself to be a hip writer, but they’re hipper. I want to be around them, they make me better.”
