Alan Jackson is celebrating this week. His 13th studio album, Thirty Miles West, is on top of the country charts. The album debuted at the #1 spot, making this Alan’s best first week sales since the 2008 release of his platinum selling album, Good Time.
Alan says his current single, “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore,” is his favorite track, and he says folks are even comparing it to a mega hit by Country Music Legend, George Jones…
Alan Jackson: “The single is a standout song to me – I just think it’s one of the better songs to come out of Nashville in a long time. People are comparing it to like a new ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today,’ which I wouldn’t want to put myself in that category with George. But it is a great song.”
