Luke Bryan Throws Platinum Party in Nashville!

Luke Bryan celebrated the platinum success of his album, Tailgates and Tanlines, with a tailgate party this week at Nashville's LP Field. Luke went all-out…setting up a stage, lighting and was backed by his full band and crew. Luke invited all the songwriters who contributed to his album…along with folks from his record label, radio personalities and TV crews. Luke said having his album sell a million copies was a huge milestone, kind of like getting a college degree…

Luke Bryan: "Well, you know, it's just an amazing event, an amazing day to celebrate being platinum. It's kind of like a college degree -- when you get one, no one can take it from you and when you get to say the rest of your life that you've got a platinum album that really means something. Today is the day that we all celebrate, I mean, everybody here right now has kind of seen it happen from the get-go and it's pretty amazing stuff. I'm very excited."

Miller Beer and Carl Black Chevrolet were the official sponsors of Luke’s party…Miller supplied the beer, of course, and Carl Black supplied the tailgates! I took some great pictures of the event below:
