Lee Brice celebrated his very first number one song as an artist with "A Woman Like You" with a party in Nashville Tuesday. Now Lee had a number one not too long ago…but it was as one of the songwriters of Eli Young Band's "Crazy Girl." So Tuesday, Lee was all smiles…saying, this career milestone was a long-time coming…
Lee Brice: "You know, writing a song and having a number one is like a really pride thing for me. So for that to happen and for somebody else to record my song, it's very humbling and I'm very honored. I'm just so proud of that. But I guess sitting here, it's more like accomplishment. It's like, finally, we worked a long time and now we're sitting here as an artist. So, it feels great in that way. You know, it's more like all the work that we put in is paying off."
