Kip Moore's Riding High at #1 with "Somethin Bout a Truck"

Kip Moore is on top of the world this week...his “Somethin Bout a Truck” is parked in the #1 spot on the country charts for the second week in a row! And Kip says he owes his all of his success to one person, who he says encouraged him to move to Music City…

Kip Moore: “My buddy P.J. Brown...we were actually living out in Hawaii together. We were living in this little hut, surfing all the time, backpackin’ and working odd jobs and I was writing a lot of music out there and he’s the one that kind of said, ‘Man, your songs...you really got somethin’. You might want to try to give this a shot.’ He’s kind of the one that made me think I was a little better than I was and gave me that initial push to make the move.”

“Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” is featured on Kip’s debut album, called Up All Night…and he’ll be celebrating his #1 success at a party in Nashville on Tuesday…stay tuned!!!
