Kenny Chesney performed a benefit concert in the Bahamas over Memorial Day weekend….It was all to help raise money for Plan it Now, an organization that helps high-risk communities prepare for natural disasters. Kenny said one of his Movie Star buddies got him involved with the group a few years back…
Kenny Chesney:"I've been involved in an organization called Plan It Now for four or five years with my friend Morgan Freeman. He was a part of this organization, it's about preparing, a la Plan It Now. And it's based around high risk areas for hurricanes or natural disasters and all that. Morgan has spent a lot of times in the islands like I have and it just fit with me."
Kenny’s getting geared up this week to kick off his Brothers of the Sun tour with Tim McGraw on Saturday in Tampa Florida.
