Jake Owen says he’s ready to get back in the game…
Jake suffered a serious injury that required major surgery, then he had a whirlwind wedding...and all of that combined slowed him down. So now, Jake says he’s ready to kick things into high gear again…
Jake Owen: “I’m really trying to get myself back into shape because for like three months, I wasn’t able to do anything. I had shoulder surgery after I broke my collarbone. I couldn’t go to the gym, I couldn’t run, I couldn’t do anything. I just felt worthless, and I’m like a really active outdoorsy guy, and I like to do a lot—and when I had to sit inside and cancel shows, and not be able—it was bad.”
Jake may be feeling the pressure of touring with two of the fittest men in Country Music. Jake hits the road this summer with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw on their Brothers of the Sun Tour. That tour kicks off in just a couple of weeks on June 2nd in Tampa, Florida.
