Carrie Underwood Says Happy Songs Coming Soon
Carrie Underwood decided to launch her new album, Blown Away, with a series of not so upbeat tunes. The title track, along with "Good Girl" and "Two Black Cadillacs," aren’t exactly what I’d call cheerful. But Carrie says, don’t worry, she saves the happy songs for later...
Carrie Underwood: "I didn't want to sandwich them in between sweet sections, so it was either put them at the beginning or the end and I thought the beginning was better. That's my reasoning, I'm not sure if it makes sense or not, but that's my reasoning for kind of starting out that way. But then we get happy."
Well, you’ll get lots of chances to see Carrie perform songs LIVE from her album soon. Carrie will play a lot during CMA Fest week: she hits the Opry stage on June 5th, then she performs at LP Field on June 8th.
