The Band Perry is pulling out the big guns for their sophomore album. The trio has not only been listening to songs written by the best writers in the business, they’ve been collaborating with them, too! Kimberly Perry revealed that they’ve written with one of her all-time greatest musical heroes, rock star Sheryl Crow…
Kimberly Perry:“A huge influence of mine has always been Sheryl Crow. I just love how lyrically she is so creative and completely unique to herself. She’s a strong lady, a fantastic performer and she’s got a little spit fire herself. I’ve always looked up to Sheryl.”
Not sure yet if the song will make it on the trio’s next album, but fans can expect new music from the TBP later this year. In the meantime, The Band Perry is climbing the charts with their single, “Postcard From Paris", off of their self-titled debut album.
