Kenny Chesney has confirmed that yes, he did drunk dial Lionel Richie and sing "My Love" on his voice-mail. Lionel told the world earlier this month that Kenny left this message...

So now Kenny’s giving his side of the story…
Kenny Chesney: "We had been over-served in red wine, I think, and I decided that I was going to call Lionel and tell him I was going to do the record. And then I did a really not-very-flattering rendition of 'My Love' on his voice-mail. And, so, that's how it happened. What is it called? I'm giving a disclaimer right now. It sucks. But it had a lot of heart and passion in it."
The good news is, Kenny’s call convinced Lionel to record “My Love” with him…and the album version turned out great. : )
