Blake Shelton says The Voice keeps him humble. Blake says that seeing people going after their dream, reminds him just how fortunate he is…

Blake Shelton: "It's easy to just kind of take it for granted sometimes. And when you get run down and tired, and it's like how many people would love to be standing up here talking about this stuff I'm talking about. And every time I sit in one of those chairs and I see those people on that stage that want this, you know what I mean, it's humbling. It's good for you."

Blake really takes his contestants under his wing,even taking last year’s Team Blake members out on the road with him. Dia and Xenia joined him for some tour dates. And this year, he allowed voted-off member Gwen Sebastian to join him on stage, as well. 

And mean critics beware…Blake takes to Twitter to defend his singers on a regular basis…and we all know Blake doesn’t hold back.
