The Band Perry says the key to putting on a great LIVE show…is all in the accordion!! Well, only the Band Perry could make playing an accordion cool….and Neil plays a mean squeeze box…but he says he never even picked one up until they were in the studio laying down tracks for their album…
Neil Perry: "When we were recording our album, we were talking with our producer and the keyboardist who actually played on it and he had an accordion lying on the ground and we looked at it and we said, 'That would be cool to put on here.' So, we put a bunch of it on the album and said, 'You know what, someone's got to play this live.'"
Kimberly Perry: "Which means we had to play it live."
Neil Perry: "And of course, we drew straws and it landed with me. No, I love playing the accordion. It's actually one of my favorite part so the live show."
They’re giving folks lots of chances to see them in action…they’ve got a packed tour schedule…TBP hits Baltimore tonight with Brad Paisley.
