Jason Aldean has chosen Lauren Alaina as a tour mate for the winter run of his My Kinda Party Tour. And It seems Lauren may have campaigned for the gig when she recorded this line in her song, “Georgia Peaches”…
"We grow where the grass is green
We got homegrown in our genes
We love Country everything
from Alan Jackson to Aldean"
Well, Jason says, that line is actually one of the reasons he hired hired her!...
Jason Aldean: "I'm a fan of hers. She's from Georgia -- one of my fellow Georgia natives, which is great. And she name checks me in one of her songs -- how could I not put her on my tour?"
Jason also chose another star from his home state of Georgia…Luke Bryan. Their first gig together will be later this month in Greenville, South Carolina.
