Keith Urban is following in Blake Shelton’s footsteps…
Keith announced that he’s signed on to coach Australia’s version of The Voice, which is set to premiere Down Under next year. Keith will be joined by other fellow Aussie coaches…Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, Seal and the Australian pop-star Delta Goodrem.
Keith Urban’s own voice is taking a rest right now. On November 22nd, Keith had surgery to remove a polyp from his vocal cords. Doctors have Keith on “complete vocal lockdown”…that’s how Keith described it in a video he posted to fans right before the surgery. Keith isn’t allowed to utter a word for three weeks...but he did speak up on Twitter. Keith responded to news from the Country Music Association of Australia tweeting, “Well, even though I can’t speak, I can read…and I was THRILLED to hear about the 4 CMAA nominations!!! THANKYOU!!!”
