Sugarland Named as Defendants in ANOTHER Lawsuit


Sugarland has been named in a NEW lawsuit over the August stage collapse in Indianapolis that killed seven people and injured more than 40 others.


The suit, according to reports, was filed by the estates of four people who died and forty-four other victims of the collapse. They are seeking unspecified damages in the suit, claiming twelve points of negligence against the defendants, even questioning the design and inspection of the stage itself. 

Sugarland along with twelve other defendants are being accused of an alleged breach of reasonable care to victims in regards to the tragedy.

Experts are saying that according to Sugarland’s contract with the Indiana State Fair, it is the band that has the final say on cancelling the show due to weather. An excerpt from that contract is shown below.
