Christmas Came Early in Nashville Last Week

Country Stars brought Christmas to Nashville early…

The second annual CMA Country Christmas special was taped Thursday night at the Bridgestone Arena. Some of the biggest stars in Country Music came together and put on an incredible show. Jennifer Nettles was our host again this year, and she had a few solo numbers as well as performing with her Sugarland Duo partner, Kristian Bush. There was also performances by Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, American Idol’s Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina…and many more stars too…

Show tapings are always fun and since it’s a show taping, it’s more relaxed and there’s opportunities for do-overs. There were also some priceless and FUNNY moments, too ... Kellie Pickler showed her Christmas spirit in the taping of the finale, she forgot where she was for a moment and cussed, but she followed it with a Merry Christmas Ya’ll!!

But Vince Gill stole the show with a hysterical performance with Miss Piggy…afterwards Vince said, “That’s it…I’m goin’ Vegan!"

Make sure you tune in when the CMA Country Christmas special airs on ABC Thursday, December 1st at 8pm.
