In a new online video, The Band Perry kicks Queen’s Fat Bottom Girls, right in the bluegrass! TBP put their own spin on the classic rock tune, and Kimberly and Neil explain whenever they sing that song, their Tennessee roots take over…
Kimberly: "When we play 'Fat Bottomed Girls' with our band live, I think we play it more like the traditional Queen version. But when it's just the three of us, because we're mandolin, acoustic guitar and bass three part harmonies, we put a little bluegrass edge to it. Plus we live over in East Tennessee."
Reid: "So we kind of can't help it."
