Trace Adkins may sing dirty songs like "Brown Chicken Brown Cow" and "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk"… but Trace admits that, as a father, he keeps a close watch on what kind of music his daughters listen to.
Trace thinks that some of the pop music out there may be sending a bad message to young girls. However, there are a few pop stars that he’s learned to put up with, and has even used his own star power to arrange for his daughters to meet them....
Trace Adkins: “Now I’ve been backstage at the Jonas Brothers, and the Cheetah Girls, and hell, everybody else. I’ve met all the rest—Jonas Brothers, did I say Jonas Brothers? Yeah. And Miley, of course, and they got to meet Taylor Swift, so I’m a hero in their world.”
Trace doesn’t allow his girls to listen to HIS music either … because he says, “I don't make music for kids.”
