They put their tour BEFORE their album. Sugarland hit the road, singing songs their fans had never even heard before and released the Incredible Machine album months after their tour started. Jennifer says, their goal was to get fans excited….
Jennifer Nettles: “Yeah, we wanted to get them excited ahead of time and we also pulled from examples in the past of promotions in setting this record up in things that had worked. And obviously to get people excited and to tour the record ahead of time so that they could hear some of the new stuff, they could get a visual that things were changing and growing, and get excited about that."
Jennifer and Kristian posted a youtube video to say goodbye and thank fans for an amazing two year run, but they promise they’re already getting ready for a new tour for next year...
