Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts has been called on by the parents of Casey Anthony. TMZ is reporting that the Anthony’s heard the song that was written about their granddaughter, Caylee Anthony…and have asked to meet Rascal Flatts...
The song, called “Going Places”, was written by Country Comedian, Cledus T Judd…who says that Gary LeVox, lead singer for the Flatts co-wrote the song. But now, Gary is setting the records straight. According to his rep, Gary LeVox was not actually a co-writer of the song. Supposedly, Gary had a writing session a while back with Cledus T. Judd, and that writing session produced a song that apparently was rewritten later without him. And now THAT is the song that pays tribute to Caylee. That song was recorded by a Nashville demo singer named Shane Hines. If you haven't heard it, here's Caylee's song:
Well, Caylee’s song has gotten a lot of attention…and so has Gary LeVox for supposedly co-writing the song. But apparently, Gary has no real connection to it. Right now, there’s no official word about whether the Anthony’s will get to meet the Flatts.
