I called her up and said, "we’ve got this song, want you to hear it...and if you wanna sing on the record, we’d love to have you." Yes, I’d say a number one hit song is a highlight for sure! It will be interesting to see them sing it live on American Idol. Up till now, Kelly’s been performing for Jason’s Country audience…this is her crowd. Yes, there are Country Music fans, too, but this is different….it’s different for Jason, for sure. I can’t wait to hear the crowd’s reaction to the two of them together.
Although I do wish that Simon was still there to see Kelly and Jason knock it out of the park!
